Audioscenic, developers of innovative 3D audio beamforming technology, announced today the first implementation of its ‘powered by Audioscenic™’ immersive audio technology through the Windows APO (Audio Processing Object) framework. This technology debuts in the new Lenovo Legion 7a (16”, 11) gaming laptop expected to start shipping in May 2026. 

‘Powered by Audioscenic’ technology delivers immersive, headset-free true spatial audio experiences for gamers, streamers, and creators. The combination of Audioscenic’s intelligent spatial audio software with the cutting-edge processing and graphics of the Lenovo Legion 7a (16”, 11) delivers natural-sounding and fatigue-free listening directly from the laptop’s built-in speakers.

The user experience is elevated by ‘Powered by Audioscenic’ spatial audio technology that creates a wide, three-dimensional soundstage that appears to extend beyond the physical boundaries of the device. Unlike traditional enhanced audio tools, the technology dynamically positions audio elements in 3D space, allowing users to better perceive directionality, distance, and separation. User position tracking adapts the sweet spot to follow the user in real time, for the first time delivering studio-grade spatial audio from a laptop.
